`IPR2018-00150
`Patent 9,559,852
`
`
`
`I.
`
`STATEMENT OF RELIEF REQUESTED
`
`Petitioner InAuth, Inc. (“Petitioner”) respectfully requests a refund of the
`
`post-institution fee it initially paid when filing its petition for Inter Partes Review
`
`(“IPR”) of U.S. Patent No. 9,559,852, which was assigned case number IPR2017-
`
`00150.
`
`II.
`
`STATEMENT OF FACTS
`
`Petitioner filed its petition for IPR on November 3, 2017. (Paper 2.) On
`
`November 13, 2017, the Board accorded the petition a filing date of November 3,
`
`2017 and gave the Patent Owner until February 5, 2017 to file a Preliminary
`
`Response. (Paper 4.) On May 10, 2018, the Patent Trial and Appeal Board denied
`
`institution of the petition for IPR. (Paper 12.)
`
`Because no trial was instituted, Petitioner respectfully requests a refund of
`
`the $18,000 post-institution fee it paid pursuant to 37 C.F.R. § 42.15(a)(2) when
`
`filing the petition. Payment of the $18,000 post-institution fee was previously
`
`charged to the undersigned’s Deposit Account No. 505708. Upon review and
`
`approval of this request, Petitioner respectfully requests that the Board credit the
`
`post-institution fee to Deposit Account No. 505708.
