`Pursuant to 37 C.F.R. § 90.2(a), Petitioner Shenzhen Silver Star Intelligent

`Technology Co. Ltd. (“Silver Star”), provides notice of its appeal to the United
`
`States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit of the Decision Denying Institution
`
`of Inter Partes Review entered on October 1, 2018, in case IPR2018-00897 (Paper
`
`No. 9), and from all underlying findings, orders, decisions, rulings, and opinions.
`
`Silver Star has attached a copy of the Decision to this notice.
`
`In accordance with 37 C.F.R. § 90.2(a)(3)(ii), the issues on appeal include,
`
`but are not limited to, the Board’s determination that claims 1, 2-5, 7, 8 and 12 of
`
`U.S. Patent No. 6,809,490 B2 (“the ’490 Patent”) are denied institution, as well as
`
`the findings that support that ruling, including, for example:
`
`1. whether the General Plastic standard accords with governing law;
`
`2. whether the Board properly applied the General Plastic standard.
`
`Shenzhen is simultaneously electronically filing copies of this Notice with
`
`the Board and the Federal Circuit. The requisite fee is being remitted to the Clerk
`
`of Court for the Federal Circuit.
