`Granting Patent Owner’s Motion for
`Pro Hac Vice Admission of Nathan Nobu Lowenstein

`Patent Owner filed a motion for pro hac vice admission of Mr. Nathan
`
`Nobu Lowenstein along with a supporting declaration by Mr. Lowenstein.
`
`Paper 7 (“Mot.”); Ex. 2001. Petitioner has not opposed Patent Owner’s
`
`motion.
`
`Patent Owner’s lead counsel, Kenneth J. Weatherwax, is a registered
`
`practitioner. Mot. 4. Patent Owner has shown by its motion and
`
`Mr. Lowenstein’s declaration that Mr. Lowenstein is an experienced
`
`litigating attorney and has an established familiarity with the subject matter
`
`at issue in the proceeding. See, e.g., Mot. 4–7; Ex. 2001 ¶¶ 8–10, 12, 15; see
`
`also 37 C.F.R. § 42.10(c).
`
`Based upon consideration of the motion and the record before us, we
`
`grant Patent Owner’s Motion for Pro Hac Vice Admission of
`
`Mr. Lowenstein.
`
`It is therefore ORDERED that Patent Owner’s unopposed motion for
`
`pro hac vice admission of Mr. Lowenstein to represent Patent Owner in the
`
`instant proceeding as back-up counsel, is granted;
`
`FURTHER ORDERED that Patent Owner is to continue to have a
`
`registered practitioner as lead counsel in the instant proceeding;
`
`FURTHER ORDERED that Mr. Lowenstein is to comply with the
`
`Office Patent Trial Practice Guide and the Board’s Rules of Practice for
`
`Trials, as set forth in Title 37, Part 42 of the Code of Federal Regulations;
`
`and
`
`FURTHER ORDERED that Mr. Lowenstein is to be subject to the
`
`Office’s disciplinary jurisdiction under 37 C.F.R. § 11.19(a), and the
`
`USPTO Rules of Professional Conduct set forth in 37 C.F.R. §§ 11.101 et
`
`seq.
