`On August 20, 2018, the parties filed1 a Joint Motion to Extend the
`Due Date for Patent Owner’s Preliminary Response. Paper 6. Currently,
`Patent Owner’s Preliminary Response is due on August 23, 2018. In the
`

`Motion, the parties indicate that they are currently engaged in settlement
`discussions, which involve many complex issues, and need more time to
`determine whether settlement can be reached. Id. at 1. The parties thus,
`request that the Board extend the deadline for Patent Owner’s Preliminary
`Response by two weeks. Id.
`Based on the parties’ joint statement, we find it appropriate to allow
`Patent Owner an additional two weeks to file its Preliminary Response.
`Accordingly, Patent Owner’s Preliminary Response is due September 6,
`2018.

`Accordingly, it is hereby:
`ORDERED that the Joint Motion to Extend the Due Date for Patent
`Owner’s Preliminary Response is granted;
`FURTHER ORDERED that the deadline for Patent Owner’s
`Preliminary Response is extended to September 6, 2018; and
`FURTHER ORDERED that no additional extensions of time for the
`filing of Patent Owner’s Preliminary Response will be granted.
