`Granting Request to File an Opposition to Motion for Joinder

`
`On June 20, 2018, Seoul Semiconductor Co., Ltd., and Seoul
`
`Semiconductor, Inc. in IPR2018-00265 (Petitioner I), contacted the Board
`
`via email requesting a conference call to discuss leave to file an Opposition
`
`to a Motion for Joinder filed in IPR2018-01244 by Everlight Electronics
`
`
`
`IPR2018-01244
`Patent 6,949,771 B2
`
`Co., Ltd. (Petitioner II). The Motion for Joinder proposes joining IPR2018-
`
`01244 with IPR2018-00265. See IPR2018-01244, Paper 3. A conference
`
`call was held on June 28, 2018, before Judges Medley, Moore, and Dougal.
`

`
`Upon consideration, we grant Petitioner I’s request to file an
`
`Opposition to the Motion for Joinder in IPR2018-01244. Because Petitioner
`
`I is not a party in IPR2018-01244, Petitioner I shall file, and separately
`
`serve, its Opposition in IPR2018-00265. Petitioner II is authorized to file,
`
`and separately serve, a Reply to the Opposition, due one month after service
`
`of the Opposition. See 37 C.F.R. § 42.25 (a)(1). Petitioner II shall file any
`
`Reply in IPR2018-01244. The parties shall follow the page limits for
`
`Oppositions and Replies set forth per 37 C.F.R. § 42.24.
`

`In consideration of the foregoing, it is hereby:
`
`II. ORDER
`
`ORDERED that Petitioner I’s request to file an Opposition to the
`
`Motion for Joinder is granted;
`
`FURTHER ORDERED that the Opposition shall be filed in IPR2018-
`
`00265 by July 12, 2018; and
`
`FURTHER ORDERED that Petitioner II is authorized to file a Reply
`
`to the Opposition, one month from service of the Opposition.
