`Highly recommend the Chrome extension "Honey" if
`you buy stuff online and/or trying to maximize
`purchasing rewards (nothing to do with EarnHoney)

`Hey guys, I'm a month in on this beer money journey. I'm mostly trying
`to maximize my returns when I buy something. So using ReceiptPal,
`ReceiptHog, CoinOut & FetchRewards. Soon I'll add on Dosh. I also use
`my CC which gives 1.5% cash back. But I wanted to throw on another
`one.
`
`The extension Honey will automatically find coupons to whatever you're
`trying to buy online and it'll apply them itself (it'll pop up trying every
`combination), also sometimes other kinds of deals and even if it doesn't,
`sometimes still rewards you and other times gives you a small discount.
`Works on so many things, even ebay. You also earn coins on top of
`whatever you save and can redeem them. I've used it before but wasn't
`serious about beer money until now (school loans...eeek). So using it
`again. I like it because it's almost passive. It'll pop out when in checkout
`and gets triggered when actually buying something; I don't have to visit
`anything, etc. They've been around for a long time now, so I trust it.

`PSA: if you're using a referral cash back site like ebates using
`honey coupon codes can nullify the cash back. Do the math &
`see if the amount saved via a new coupon is really more than
`the cash back + whatever coupon the referral site might have. I
`got burned once.

`Came here to say this too. Most cash back shopping portal
`sites that I find on CashBackMonitor tell you that if you use a
`coupon from another site, the cash back won't be applied to
`your account, so gotta be careful

`The cashback from sites like Ebates and TopCashBack is
`usually higher than what you'd get from Honey anyway, so I
`never use it. Definitely recommend doing the math. Also,
`Wikibuy also usually works better for me when searching for
`coupons and price comparisons.

`monthly "WHO PAID ME" posts have helped hundreds, if not thousands of
`people get started on our little hobby and he is always willing to answer
`questions.

`And IF you know Ox, you know that he has some health issues that make it
`very hard for him to work outside of the home or on a regular schedule, so he
`actually makes a living from beermoney. While it might be a hobby for most of
`us, it's far more important to him.

`back. However, this appears to be a one-off. Not only does Venmo restrict how
`many cards you can add to your account in a 6 month period, but they won't
`allow me to add any additional Visa Gift Card after my first attempt.

`did not work. Apparently this has something to do with the location of the
`bank that issued the Visa. Not too sure.

`device that you have with their extension or vpn (phone, tablet, pc) plus they
`have some surveys as well.

`matter the length pays $2. However the site has no dashboard, no survey
`completion history or anything and the surveys can take up to 3 months to
`credit and pay and they only have cheques as a payment option.

`For everyone that has been a member for a while and does their surveys, how
`do you know if you are not getting scammed by them? Since there's no
`ledger/dashboard i'm writing by hand every survey that i complete. The up to 3
