`The Electrical Technician will operate electronic data acquisition and machine control
`equipment for Safety Lab FMVSS 201, 202, 203, 206, 207, 210, 214, 216, 226 and
`FMH testing. This technician will be involved with bumper barrier, bumper
`pendulum, air bag test cell, drop tower, and European pedestrian testing, and other
`special projects. The Electrical Technician will perform annual calibration on all
`safety lab transducers including complete and accurate record keeping. Maintain all
`instrumentation equipment by performing preventative maintenance and basic
`repairs (ability to read electronic schematics and operate electronic test equipment —
`volt meter, oscilloscope, etc.) and will be responsible for build-up and implement
`special instrumentation equipment.
`
`Please note: this is a salaried bargaining unit position.
`
`Basic Qualifications:
`
`High school diploma or GED
`Associate degree in Electronic Engineering Technology (or related field) OR two
`years of relevant work experience
`Valid driver’s license
`Possess good computer skills: MS office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
`Well rounded verbal skills
`
