`Die Baugruppe 1280 ist ein Interface, das aus dem Innenraum CAN-Protokoll eines Fahrzeugs machstehend
`beschriebene Daten verarbeitet. Durch den Einbau dieses Artkels in ein Fabrzeug greift man in ein komplexes:
`Gesamisystem ein, das wir als Hersteller und Lieferant der o.g. Baugruppe nur bedingt kennen konnen, da
`Unstetigkeiten des Serienstandes innerhalb einer Modellreihe und eines Modelljahres eine (ibertragharkeit der
`hier beschriebenen Kombinationen nicht injedem Fall zuJassen, weshalb eine Haftung ausgeschiossen ist. Bitte
`beachten Sie daber generel! beim Einbau von elektronischen Baugruppen in Fahrzeugen die Einbaurichtiinien

`above mentioned unit do not know very well. We cannot guarantee that picking off data from the CAN Bus
`system may not influence other electronic units or systems in the car. So ifyou install electronic units in cars,

`Das Interface 1280 wird an Daverplus (KI. 30) und Masse (KI.31) angeschlossen. Aufgrund der Bauart muss
`das Interface in die CAN Datenbusleitungen geschaltet werden. Dazu werden diese durchirennt und mit den
`Pins. 1,2 und 5,6 am linterface verbunden. Zur Montage kénnen die beillegenden Rundhilsen
`verwendet werden.
`ACHTUNG: Niemals CAN high und low gleichzeitig durchschneiden!! Jede Leitung einzein!!!
`Die Richtung (sprich Ein/Ausgang) ist hier nicht 2u bericksichligen. Zum Aktivieren der TY Funktion
`wahrend
`der Fahrt muss die violette Leitung des 1280 mit dem Riickfahrscheinwerfer verbunden werden. Liegt hier
`eine Schaltspannung von +12an so lst das Interface akthy und enmdglicht das, 2.6. von einer
`Rickfahrkamera, gelleferte Bild auf dem Navigationsmoniter zu sehen. Urn das umschalten zu
`automatisieren, liefert das Interface bel eingelegiem Roickwartsgang Gber die orange Leitung ein
`Schaltsignal
`von +5¥ (il max. 30mA). Dieses kann als Steversignal verwendet werden kann.

`ce The interface 1280 basically has to be connected with permanent +12V (terminal 30) and
`ground (terminal 31). Due to the electronic design, the interface has to be connected In serial to the
`CAN bus wires. Therefore the CAN bus has to be cut through and connected with Pin 1, 2 and 5, 6
`te the interface 1280. For assembling the enclosed bullet sleeves can be used.
`ATTENTION: Never cut CAN high and low simultaneousiy!! Only one single wire!!
`Direction (inpuloutput) deasn't play 4 role. For activating the TV stand by of the picture while driving,
`the
`purple wire from 1280 has to be connected with the signal for back up light. A voltage of +12V
`al the purple wire activates the interface and makes it possible to view the picture of a for e.g rear view
`camera on the navigation screen while moving. For an automation of switching, the interface delivers a
`signal of +5¥(I max. 30mA) at the orange wire, as long as the reverse gearis laid in. This signal can
`be
`used as a remote signal.
