`
`The GSMA offers a range of services that help organisations take advantage of our
`unique position as the global authority on the world's mobile devices.
`
`Many of these services harness the unrivalled accuracy of our data to provide the
`device intelligence you need. Authorised by 3GPP, we manage the Type Allocation
`Code (TAC) system which allows the industry to identify all mobile device types. The
`8 digit TAC forms the first part of the International Mobile Equipment Identity (IMEI)
`which then identifies each individual mobile device and its model specification.

`The quantity of eUICC and IMEI can be added to TAC certificate
`21 NOV 2019
`
`Regulators in some countries are expecting to see the quantity of eUICC /

`TAC Owners can update the details of their TAC with the eUICC / UICC and IMEI
`information, in the IMEI Database and then request a new TAC Certificate.
