`original date of November 18, 2022 to December 9, 2022 is granted. The parties should confer and provide the Board
`with a list of dates and times during the weeks of October 17th and 24th for when the parties are available for a
`conference call to discuss the MTA.

`CAUTION: This email has originated from a source outside of USPTO. PLEASE CONSIDER THE SOURCE before responding, clicking on
`links, or opening attachments.

`Dear Honorable Board,

`In its Order dated September 12, 2022, the Board directed the Parties to meet and confer regarding the due date for
`Samsung’s opposition to Jawbone’s Motion to Amend (“MTA”). The Board also noted that the Parties should feel free to
`contact the Board if they have questions about the motion to amend process or require further guidance.

`Extension of Due Date 2
`Pursuant to the Board’s Order, the Parties have met and conferred and agree that Petitioners’ deadline for filing an
`opposition to the MTA should be extended from its original date of November 18, 2022 to December 9, 2022, i.e., the
`same three week extension that Patent Owner effectively enjoyed in filing its MTA.

`The Parties respectfully request the Board’s approval of this extension, and welcome the Board’s guidance on anything
`further they should do to effectuate this extension.

`Petitioners’ Request for a Conference Call
`Petitioners further request a conference call with the Board to seek the Board’s guidance with respect to the MTA. In
`particular, Petitioners have concerns about how to proceed with their opposition to the MTA as it currently exists. See,
`e.g., MTA, Paper 16, at 4 (multiple claim sets). Petitioners seek guidance and relief from the Board as they would be
`severely prejudiced in responding to the current MTA’s large number of substitute claims (two full claim sets as well as
`other issues effectively creating additional substitutes that Petitioners can address during the conference call),
`particularly within the confines of a 25 page response.

`Petitioners have conferred with counsel for Patent Owner regarding their availability for a conference call with the
`Board, and the Parties are available for a conference call any time October 11 – 14, except Wednesday, October 12 from
`12:30pm‐2:00pm Eastern time.

`Respectfully,
`Ali R. Sharifahmadian
`Counsel for Petitioners
