`
`Simulations Plus, Inc. (AMEX:SLP – News), a leading provider of simulation and modeling software
`for pharmaceutical discovery and development, announced that it has released version 5.2 of its
`flagship GastroPlus(™) simulation software product.
`
`Dr. Viera Lukacova, GastroPlus software product manager and Team Leader for Simulation
`Technologies, said: “This latest release of GastroPlus adds several important improvements to the
`PBPKPlus(™) and PDPlus(™) add-on modules as well as many convenience features for our
`users. The number of improvements is significant, but most of the details are quite technical. For
`the purposes of this press release, we’ll simply say that some new features provide greater
`accuracy for certain types of simulations, while other new features allow users to generate and
`visualize simulation results in more convenient ways. The entire purpose is, of course, to provide
`increased quality and quantity of information to our users to allow them to make better project
`decisions.”
`
`Ron Creeley, vice president of marketing and sales for Simulations Plus, added: “GastroPlus has
`become the gold standard for its type of software, and we’re now getting reports from the field that
`GastroPlus simulation results are becoming required in many of their internal project reports. It
`continues to provide the highest revenues of all of our software products, and it is the basis for the
`majority of our consulting contracts.”
