`DECISION ON PETITION
`UNDER37 CFR 1.78(c)
`
`This is a corrected decision on the renewedpetition under 37 CFR 1.78(c), filed July 13, 2016, to
`accept an unintentionally delayed claim under 35 U.S.C. 119(e) for the benefit of priority to one
`or moreprior-filed provisional applications.
`
`The Decision mailed on July 22, 2016 is hereby VACATED.
`
`The petition is DISMISSED.
`
`35 U.S.C. 255 slates (emphasis added) that
`
`Whenever a mistake of a clerical or typographical nature, or ofminor character, which was not
`the fault of the Patent and Trademark Office, appears in a patent and a showing has been made
`that such mistake occurred in goodfaith, the Director may, upon payment of the requiredfee,
`issue a certificate of correction, if the correction does not involve such changes in the patent as
`would constitute new matter or would require reexamination. Such patent, together with the
`certificate, shall have the same effect and operation in lawon thetrial ofactions for causes
`thereafter arising as if the same had been originally issued in such currected form.
`
`Because the yrant of priority/ benefit in this instance would result in a changein the
`statutory regime under which the application should have been examined(andif
`granted during the pendencyof the application, such a change would haveoccurred),it
`would not be appropriate to issue the requested certificate of correction.
`
`Any further correspondencewith respect to this matter maybefiled electronically via
