`I’ve been an avid gardenerfor as long as I oan remember. Gumently, I live on a steeply sloped
`property with dozens of eittrvemely imegulariy shaped tenaoed garden plots. Ho sprinltleron
`the marltet oould solve my watering problems. It was very fn.|str:ating, espeoially watering my
`vegetable gardens. They just seemed to need more attention from the time I planted the seeds
`until the time I harvested. I lost many tomatoes to both over-watering and under-watering and
`many hard-to-neaoh spots rarely got any water at all.
`
`Pop-ups, osoillators and impulse sprinltlers never seemed to get the job done. They all
`appeared to have had shortoomings either in theirdesign or in theirapplioations. Drip
`systems, on the other hand were expensive, time-oonsuming and oould not easily adapt to a
`ohanging and growing garden.

`I ltept thinlting, there’s got to be a better way.

`Then one night I was watohing my wife put “EIenders" in her hair. {They’re thiolt, soft silioone
`“oigar-shaped" thing-a rna-bobs molded overa stiff, but bendable wire. "I"ou twist them around
`lengths of hair, instead of hard rollers orour1ers.]

`prototypes based on that oonoept, only using a flexible tube as a water oonduit and a duotile
`stainless steel wire to hold its shape. After years of development and refinement, the
`Hoodlehead was aooepted for patent by the United States Patent and Trademarlt «Office and
`reoeived Patent # 5,B2E,EI.'I3.
`
`How with the Hoodlehead, I’m even able to nurture those fomier un-waterable areas into little
