`Name of Utility Model: Modified Inflatable Swimming Pool
`
`
`
`Abstract:
`
`
`The present utility model discloses a modified inflatable
`swimming pool characterized in that: the circular wall of
`the swimming pool is provided with a plurality of
`supporting spacers disposed therein at suitable intervals,
`the plurality of supporting spacers are welded to the pool
`wall at high frequency, but suitable spaces are left
`respectively between the plurality of supporting spacers
`and the bottom of the swimming pool and the circular
`wall top. The bottom portion of the swimming pool is a
`striped air-bag cushion. With the supporting spacers, the
`force per unit area bearable by the circular wall surface is
`increased, the height of the circular wall can be increased,
`and the circular wall can be made to have a height greater
`than that of an ordinary commonly known inflatable
`swimming pool and is not prone to being shaken due to
`children playing in the swimming pool. Also, the
`bottom portion of the swimming pool is an air-bag
`cushion, thus allowing children to have better feeling of
`safety and comfort. In addition, due to the provision of
`the supporting spacers, sitting on the circular wall top can
`be allowed so as to facilitate users to take care of young
`children playing in the swimming pool without having to
`go far.

`Claims
`
`
`
`1. An inflatable swimming pool, characterized in that: the circular wall of the swimming pool is
`an inflatable air chamber provided with a plurality of supporting spacers disposed therein at suitable
`intervals, and suitable spaces are left respectively between the plurality of supporting spacers and
`the circular wall top and the bottom of the swimming pool so that a communicated air chamber is
`formed in the circular wall; the bottom portion of the swimming pool is an air-bag cushion welded
`to the inside of the circular wall so that the cushion of the swimming pool is tightly joined with the
`circumferential edge inside the bottom portion of the circular wall.

`
`
`
`Description
`
`
`Modified Inflatable Swimming Pool
`
`FIELD
`
`[0001] The present utility model relates to a modified inflatable swimming pool.
`
`
`
`BACKGROUND
`
`[0002] The pool wall of a commonly known prior art inflatable swimming pool (as shown in Figure
`1) is made of a plurality of circular air-bags 12 using high frequency welding, and the bottom 11
`thereof is a plastic sheet, and as the pool wall of any inflatable swimming pool with structure similar
`thereto is connected through the high frequency weld runs between the circular air-bags 12, the
`height of the pool wall is inevitably limited. In addition, if a commonly known prior art inflatable
`swimming pool is too high, the pool wall is prone to serious deformation due to children playing in
`the pool causing water to spill, and due to the strength inadequacy of the pool wall the water storage
`capacity of the pool cannot be increased, hence causing the practicality of the entire inflatable
`swimming pool to be greatly reduced.
`
`
`
`SUMMARY OF THE UTILITY MODEL
`
`[0003] Therefore, the present utility model aims to overcome the deficiencies of prior art inflatable
`swimming pools for better effectiveness and practical value. Specifically, a primary object of the
`present utility model is to provide a modified inflatable swimming pool with its circular wall having
`higher surface strength and compressive strength, so that the height of its circular wall can be
`increased. A secondary object of the present utility model is to enhance comfort at the time when
`the bottom portion of the swimming pool is used. Another object of the present utility model is to
`beautify the shape of the inflatable swimming pool.
`
`[0004] According to the present utility model, a plurality of supporting spacers are disposed at
`suitable intervals in the circular wall of the swimming pool, and suitable spaces are left respectively

`

`
`
`
`between the plurality of supporting spacers and the top and bottom of the circular wall so that
`interlinked air chambers are formed in the entire circular wall. In addition, the bottom portion of
`the swimming pool is a striped air-bag cushion welded to the inside of the circular wall so that the
`cushion of the swimming pool is tightly joined with the circumferential edge inside the bottom
`portion of the circular wall.
`
`[0005] Therefore, the provision of the supporting spacers disposed in the circular wall enables the
`circular wall to have higher surface strength and compressive strength, and thereby enabling the
`circular wall to be made higher so that the present utility model has a better use-effectiveness.
`Since the bottom of the swimming pool is made as an air-bag cushion, comfort of use is enhanced.
`As a transparent circular wall and multi-color supporting spacers are used, the swimming pool is
`beautified.
`
`
`
`BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS
`
`[0006] The structure and use-effectiveness of the present utility model are illustrated below with
`reference to the accompanying drawings.
`
`[0007] Figure 1 is a schematic isometric view illustrating a commonly known prior art inflatable
`swimming pool.
`
`[0008] Figure 2 is an isometric view of the present utility model.
`
`[0009] Figure 3 is a sectional view at sectional line A-A shown in Figure 2.
`
`
`
`DETAILED DESCRIPTION
`
`[0010] As shown in Figure 2, the present utility model is provided with a plurality of supporting
`spacers 23 disposed at suitable intervals in the circular wall 24 between a circular wall top 22 and an
`air-bag cushion 21. Also, it can be seen from the sectional view in Figure 3 that the plurality of
`supporting spacers 23 and the circular wall 24 are fabricated by means of high frequency welding,
`but suitable spaces 242 are left respectively between the plurality of supporting spacers 23 and the
`circular wall top 22 and the bottom of the swimming pool so that a communicated air chamber is
`formed in the circular wall. Therefore, the provision of the supporting spacers 23 disposed in the

`

`
`
`
`circular wall 24 enables the entire circular wall 24 to have higher surface stress, thereby making it
`not prone to deformation due to internal water pressure. In addition, due to the provision of the
`supporting spacers 23 which provide bracing function stretching both sides of the circular wall 24,
`the circular wall 24 is not deformed when the circular wall top 22 is subjected to high pressure, i.e.
`the pressure to which the circular wall top 22 is subjected is evenly distributed to the circular wall
`24. Therefore, with the aforementioned effects, the circular wall 24 of the swimming pool can be
`made to have a height several times that of an ordinary commonly known inflatable swimming pool,
`and as the circular wall 24 can withstand the pressure caused by persons sitting on the circular wall
`top 22 without deforming, i.e. it facilitates users to take care of young children splashing in the
`swimming pool without having to go far, thus making the use-effectiveness and practical value of
`the present utility model more significant. In addition, the bottom of the swimming pool of the
`present utility model is an air-bag cushion 21 allowing persons playing in the swimming pool to
`have comfort, and as the circular wall 24 of the present utility model is made of transparent material
`and the supporting spacers 23 in the circular wall 24 are of different colors, the overall appearance is
`refreshing and it is believed that consumers’ desire to purchase can be aroused by the structural
`stability and beautify shape of the present utility model.
`
`[0011] In summary, the present utility model “Modified Inflatable Swimming Pool” is a major
`structural improvement made on commonly known products and the additional design of supporting
`spacers enables: the circular wall of the present utility model to have a greater height and be stable
`and not prone to being shaken; the circular wall top thereof to withstand high pressure; and the
`air-bag cushion to be more comfortable.
