`I represent the Respondent State of Oklahoma in the above referenced case. Petitioner
`Richard Glossip filed his Petition for Writ of Certiorari on May 4, 2023, and the matter was placed on
`the docket the same day. Respondent’s brief in response to the Petition for Writ of Certiorari is due
`on or before June 5, 2023. Pursuant to United States Supreme Court Rule 30.4, Respondent requests
`a thirty (30) day extension of time to file a brief in response to the Petition for Writ of Certiorari.
`Respondent respectfully requests a due date of July 5, 2023.
`
`Respondent has been informed that several amicus briefs will be filed on or before June 5,
`
`2023, including an amicus brief that will purportedly not support either party. The extension is
`requested to complete preparation of the response and address any new arguments made in the amicus
`briefs.
