`TO THE HONORABLE JUDGE OF SAID COURT:

`Now comes JOSHUA KANE WEST, Petitioner, and petitions the Court for an

`occupational driver's license under the provisions of § 521.242 of the Texas Transportation Code,
`and in support thereof would respectfully show this Honorable Court the following:

`Petitioner’s license is currently suspended due a Driving While Intoxicated arrest on

`There is an essential need for Petitioner to operate a motor vehicle:

`Petitioner’s purpose, destination, the date, time of departure, and time of arrival.

`It is necessary for Petitioner to operate a vehicle for more than four hours in a

`twenty-four-hour period, therefore, Petitioner requests the Court to grant a waiver of the four hour
`operating period restriction of §421.248(b) of the Texas Transportation Code.
`WHEREFORE, PREMISES CONSIDERED, Petitioner prays that he be granted the
`
`privilege to drive a motor vehicle to perform Petitioner’s occupation or trade; for transportation to
`and from where Petitioner practices an occupation or trade; for transportation to and from an
`educational facility in which Petitioner is enrolled; and to perform duties essential to the
`maintenance of a family household, under such restrictions as the Court may determine.
