`Please reconsider the application in View of the amendments presented herein and the

`Disposition of the Claims
`
`Claims 1-6 and 13-25 are pending prior to the instant amendment. Claims 1-6 and 18-25
`
`are herein canceled without prejudice or disclaimer.
`
`Claims 13 and 17 are herein amended. New claims 26-39 are herein added.
`
`No new matters are added by way of amendment. Written support can be found throughout
`
`the Specification as originally filed, as exemplified below: Claim 17 ([0037]); Claims 29 and 33
`
`(FIGs. 9-10 (BDNF), l4 (glycodelin) and 15 (ZAG)), Claims 34 and 37 ([0042]).
`
`After entry of this amendment, claims 13-17 and 26-39 are pending and under
`
`examination, among which claims 13 and 17 are independent claims.

`Allowable Subject Matter
`
`Applicant thanks the Examiner for finding claim 17 as last presented to be directed to
`
`allowable subject matter.
`
`Newly added claims 26-34 are dependent on claim 17 and are therefore believed to be
`
`directed to allowable subject matter.

`Claims 1-6, 13-16 and 18-25 stand rejected as being directed to patent ineligible subject
`
`matter under 35 USC §lOl.

`Without acquiescing to the rejections and in an effort to advance the examination of the
`
`present application, Applicant has herein canceled 1-6 and 18-25 and amended claim 13 per
`
`suggestion of the Examiner (Office Action, p. 4).
`
`Accordingly, Applicant respectfully submits that amended claim 13 and all claims
`
`dependent thereon (claims 14-16 and 35-39) comply with 35 USC §lOl.
`
`Reconsideration and withdrawal of all rejections is respectfully requested.

`Applicant submits that all pending claims are in condition for allowance. It is believed that
`
`all pending issues have been fully addressed. However, the absence of a reply to a specific

`rejection, issue, or comment does not signify Applicant’s agreement. In addition, because the
`
`arguments made above may not be exhaustive, there may be additional reasons for patentability of
`
`any or all pending claims (or other claims) that have not been expressed. Further, the amendment
`
`of any claim does not necessarily signify concession of unpatentability of the claim prior to its
`
`amendment.
