`REMARKS
`
`The Examineris thanked for the thorough examination of the present application. The
`
`Office Action, however, tentatively reject the claim. In response, Applicant submits the
`
`foregoing amendments andthe following remarks. Applicant respectfully requests
`
`reconsideration of these rejections for at least the following reasons.
`
`Present Status of Application
`
`The claim, specification, and FIG. 7 is amended in this submission.
`
`Specification
`
`The specification has been amendedaccording to suggestions given by the examiner in
`
`the Office Action.
`
`Thetitle “Bottom of multi-lead electrocardiogram recorder” has been amended to “A
`
`multi-lead electrocardiogram recorder’, andthetitle in the first figure description has been
`
`amendedaccordingly.
`
`Claim rejections (112
`
`The claim is rejected under 35 U.S.C. § 112 (a) and (b) or 35 U.S.C. § 112 (pre-AIA),
`
`first and second paragraphs.
`
`Thetitle “Bottom of multi-lead electrocardiogram recorder” is directed to less than what
`
`is being claimed andtherefore is indefinite. As stated above, the title has been amended to “A
`
`multi-lead electrocardiogram recorder’. This issue has been overcome.
`

`The depths, spatial positions and appearance of the elements shownin Fig. 7 identified by
`
`the darkened coloring below are unclear from the limited views in which they appear.
`
`To overcomethis issue, the indefinite elements have been reducedto broken lines and
`
`removedfrom the claim, as suggested by the examiner. Furthermore, the description “wherein
`
`the broken lines form no part of the claimed design” has been addedto the specification, to
`
`part in Fig. 7.
`
