`Onor about December 28, 2023,the Plaintiff as lessor(landlord), and the Defendant(s), as
`lessees (tenant), entered an oral month-to-month lease, which was renewed on consecutive
`monthsthereafter, for use and occupancy ofthe following premises:
`
`7 Fleet Street 1* Floor Waterbury, Connecticut 06704
`
`The Defendant(s) agreed to pay the monthly rental of $1,500.00, payable on the FIRST day of
`
`each month.
`
`The Defendant(s) remained in possession ofthe premises pursuant to the oral month-to-month
`lease andstill occupies the premises.
`
`On March 1, 2024, andprior thereto, and for the 9 days following as allowedbystatute, the
`Defendant(s) failed to pay the entire rent due.
`
`On March 11, 2024, the Plaintiff caused a Notice to Quit Possession to be served on the
`Defendant(s) to vacate the premises on or before March 22. 2024. as required by law. A copy of
`the Notice to Quit and the State of Connecticut Right to Counsel Program as well as information
`on the Unite CT flyer are attached hereto.

`Although the time given in the Notice to Quit Possession ofthe premises has passed, the
`Defendant(s) continue in possession.
